Grade 9 Immunization Clinic

Public Health nurses will be coming to Leo Hayes on Friday, February 17, 2023 to offer all grade 9 students their meningitis and chicken pox vaccines.  Information pamphlets for the vaccines offered are available below. We encourage you to make sure your child has had breakfast and snacks available for after the immunizations. Please ask that your child wear a short-sleeved shirt.

If the consent form has not been completed online, please do so before the school clinic date.   These consents should be completed whether the student is being immunized or not.

 Please note

·     If your child had chicken pox disease after he or she was 1 year of age and that was confirmed by a blood test, they do not require the chicken pox vaccine.

·     If your child has a problem with their immune system, you should contact Public Health.

If you have any questions, please contact the Public Health Immunization line @ 506-453-8252 or e-mail your question to LVImmu@gnb.ca
